What is the "Public engagement"?
Alongside teaching and research, Public engagement activities include all initiatives aimed at sharing and enhancing knowledge for the benefit of the communities and the territory in which the university lives and operates.

	The goal is to promote openness toward the production sector by creating ways to apply the most advanced knowledge developed within the Department, such as protecting intellectual property (patents) and creating spin-offs.
	The goal is to bring citizens and the school community closer to the Department’s scientific research by presenting it in clear, accessible language.
