THE TEACHING COMMITTEE

The Teaching Committee (TC) carries out advisory and preparatory functions concerning the organization of teaching activities within the Degree Program (DP).
Its primary goal is to ensure that the Department’s educational offering is of high quality, making rational use of resources and aligning with the various teaching needs. In particular, the TC:

• Ensures consistency and complementarity among the different courses, preventing significant content overlap by analyzing syllabi and, when necessary, initiating thematic working groups among faculty members;
• Reviews requests related to extraordinary exam sessions, internships, placements, study plans, and other supplementary educational activities;
• Supports the management of theses, graduation sessions, and degree examinations, contributing to the planning and organization of these key milestones in the academic journey;
• Assesses, based on reports from students or their representatives, any critical issues or emerging situations related to the study program, in order to identify and propose corrective or improvement measures.

  GdR [ex GAV]

The "Gruppo di Riesame" (GdR) [until 30/09/2025 known as the Gruppo per l'accreditamento e la valutazione (GAV)] is responsible for assessing any critical issues related to the Course — including teaching, student services, and potential employment opportunities — and for proposing to the Council the most appropriate actions to improve the quality of teaching, also for the purposes of the periodic accreditation of the Course.
