Protein engineering

The laboratory of protein engineering is dedicated to recombinant protein expression and purification and  provide advice and active support for researchers scientific community in the use of the prokaryotic and eukaryotic expression system for recombinant proteins. He is also interested in building proteins with new properties as through the joining of protein domains In addition, the Spy-Tag, Spy-Catcher expression system has been developed which allows the covalent link of two or more proteins to each other through an amide bond. Furthermore, a system for expression of proteins based on the tripartide Split SfGFP and  Split SfGFP in E coli and Eukaryotic Cells is developed. Vector based on sfGFP and many other fluorescent protein are present to monitor the expression of the proteins of interest in cells.
