Consultative Committee

The Consultative Committee is responsible for assisting the Coordinator in monitoring activities (analysis of training and research, including research periods abroad, participation in conferences, and the quality and quantity of scientific production) and listening to doctoral students (through opinion-taking questionnaires, possibly supplemented by other tools). The Committee provides advisory and guidance on the doctoral program and identifying employment opportunities. The Consultative Committee is composed of three faculty members (including the Coordinator) who are part of the Faculty Board, one representative of the PhD candidates, and two stakeholders: one from an academic background belonging to the University of Ferrara and one from the corporate sector in the biomedical field. The Consultative Committee has an international profile, as one of the faculty members is affiliated with University College London, thus ensuring input with a broader perspective derived from experiences beyond the national context.
